Best Buy “More of This” Women’s History Month Social Campaign
When more young women pursue their dreams, more women will lead the next generation.
This was the guiding thought behind Best Buy’s “More of This” Women’s History Month campaign. Both a celebration and a call to action, this social campaign highlighted the pathways Best Buy’s Teen Tech Centers create to encourage more young women to pursue STEM careers.
Social Post #1
More speaking up. More standing out.
As we celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth and beyond, we want to take a moment and acknowledge tomorrow’s tech leaders. The ones who speak up, stand out and become mentors for the next generation of women in STEM. Our Teen Tech Centers are places that support young women on their journeys to learning more and provide resources to help foster the leaders of tomorrow. #MoreOfThis
Social Post #2
More firsts. More nexts.
History has seen women do amazing things. From calculating trajectories in the Space Race to developing life-saving vaccines, women have been achieving “firsts” in STEM for decades. And now it’s time for the next. We’ve committed to ensuring that 30% of the next 1,000 technology employees at Best Buy will be BIPOC or women. #MoreOfThis #WomensHistoryMonth
Social Post #3
More out-of-this- world dreams. More making them a reality.
We’re committed to contributing to a world that encourages young women to follow their dreams. To open a door to possibilities, we have a nationwide network of Teen Tech Centers where teens from disinvested communities can develop critical tech skills alongside trusted mentors and explore pathways to STEM careers. Keep dreaming those out—of-this-world dreams. Making them a reality isn’t too far away. #MoreOfThis #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2021
